Aims
  • To protect the habitats, fauna and flora within the proposed park area.
  • To promote and encourage environmentally friendly, sustainable use of the seas and land within the proposed park area.
  • To promote educational programmes for schools, communities and commercial sectors.

In pursuing the above, we aim to involve and work closely together with all interests, including local marine users (e.g. fishing bodies, aquaculture, tour operators and scuba groups). As a community-based group we hope to explore this proposal from a "bottom-up" approach.

Part of our activities is to encourage the application of existing and future environmental legislation, initiatives and commitments.
